Concession stand
opener/ closer:
Opener is the first to arrive at the concession stand before games and gets the
concession workers started: shows them how to operate the machines and
instructs them on how much food to make, etc. Takes
approximately 15 minutes. Closers are the last to leave, and arrive in
time to help the last shift of workers close the concession. Instruct them on
cleaning the concession, trash throw away and floor cleanup. Handle money drop.
Takes approximately 1 hour. Openers/ closers are
scheduled approximately once/ week to either open or close during the sport
season. Schedules flexible and can be traded with
other openers/closers. Fees for children participating in
sports is waived as is concession duty.
